Types of Beat Licenses
We offer 3 different types of non-exclusive licenses and one exclusive rights license. Non-exclusive licenses are also commonly referred to as “beat leases.” Although there are limitations to what you can do with each non-exclusive license (see details below) – you keep 100% of the profits you make from selling your songs made with the beats. Basic Non-Exclusive License ($19.99)
1) Receive a High Quality 320KBps MP3 of the beat
2) Allowed for commercial use (Album, Digital Single, Performances) with limitations
3) One tag remains in the intro of the beat
4) Sell up to 500 units
5) Up to 5,000 Streaming Audio Plays (Spotify, Pandora, Soundcloud, etc)
6) Up to 5,000 Streaming Video Plays (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, etc)
7) Broadcasting rights limited to 1 radio station

How does the Contract look like?
Copyright License Agreement
right of use for audio files

Belair Beats
(creator of the audio files)
and
Licensee
(the licensee of the audio files)
Introduction
The purpose of this agreement is to grant the licensee the unlimited right of use.
The licensee should have the same rights as the owner himself, within the limits of legal legitimacy.
- Assignment of rights
Belair Beats being the general owner of the unrestricted rights of the audio files gives the licensee all the unlimited usage rights for national and international purposes.
Belair Beats insures that they themselfes own the rights of usage, that the content is cleared of any third party rights and that they shall not take any action that counteracts the terms in this agreement.
- Rights and duties of the Licensee
The licensee may use the audio material for publications of any kind and for any audio related purpose.
The licensee has the rights to prosecute the recognition of authorship (Art. 9 URG) and to pursue any claims for damages in consultation with Belair Beats, if it seems appropriate and promising.
- Usage
Belair Beats agrees that the audio material may be changed and that it could differ from the original version. The licensee will be mindful that the sound quality will not be declined.
Belair Beatstakes care of the responsibility for claims of third party towards the licensee which are caused by Belair Beats trough misleading information regarding rights of use.
the licensee does not have the right to claim authorship and is required to credit the work of Belair Beats
represented under this agreement.
- Payment
The licensee agrees to pay Belair Beats a one-time fee as listet in the product-page itself within 10 days after purchasing.
The licensee than gets the rights of use for that audio files
- Duration of the agreement
The agreement is concluded with undefined length and can be terminated at the end of the following month.
6. Final terms
Any changes of this agreement require the written form. Same takes effect for the release of the formal requirements. If certain terms of this agreement are invalid, the agreement itself will still be valid. The invalid terms will then be rewritten, so that the overall purpose will be achieved.
Relevant for this agreement is the swiss law, especially the right of us of the federal law and all related trade mark rights and obligation rights. The responsible corts for evaluation of conflicts related to this agreement are
the place of residence of Belair Beats.
How Much Does Mixing & Mastering Cost?

Trackout mixing, where we mix all the Trackouts (Stems) of a Song for you!
mastering ($74.99):
1) Dynamics: Maximal loudness for streming and sets
2) Stereo Field: Mono compatibility and stereo enhancing
3) Frequencies: Transition to other speaker systems!
How Do I Send Files for Mixing & Mastering?
File Format
- Please export the separated tracks (like lead vocal, ad libs, etc).
- Please render all the tracks from the beginning, so that each track lines up at the beginning of the song. Meaning if your verse starts 2 minutes into the song, there should be exactly 2 minutes of silence on that track before we hear your voice.
- Make sure your tracks are dry, meaning NO EFFECTS like reverb or compression.
Important
- The typical turn around time is 1 to 2 weeks per song.
- For every song that we mix for you, we always give three rounds of simple revisions for free for changing simple things like adjusting volumes or turning up pitch correction.
- If this is your first mix with us, it would be helpful for us for you to send us one of your songs for a mixing reference. This is not a requirement, but if you’d like to, just include it in the folder that you upload to us!

What's The Difference Between Exclusive and Non-Exclusive Licenses?
Non-exclusive licenses (also known as beat leases or leasing rights) have restrictions in number of allowed sales units, earnings, etc., and can be sold to multiple artists at the same time. Belair Beats retains full ownership of the beats when these licenses are purchased.
Exclusive rights allows unlimited use of the song you make with it on any medium without any limit on sales, streams, etc! After an exclusive rights license has been sold, that beat will no longer be available for any type of licensing in the future. If you buy exclusive rights to a beat, you become the owner of the beat.
What's The Difference Between a "2 Track" and "Tracked-Out" Beat?
- A “2-track beat” aka a “Stereo Beat” is one stereo file.
- This usually in the format of one MP3 or WAV file
- A “tracked-out” beat means the instruments of the beat (kick drum, snare, bass, synth, etc) are on separate tracks, also known as “stems.”
- This will usually come in a zip folder with multiple WAV files
